Black and white photo of original three buildings on the Garden City campus, designed by McKim, Mead and White. The Levermore Memorial, two rows of trees planted along the boulevard of the campus, was a gift from the class of 1901 and may be seen against the snow.

Eleanor Roosevelt at the dedication of the School of Nursing residence halls, now known as Alumnae Hall (eastern) and Harvey Hall. The halls housed the largest Cadet Nursing Corps on the east coast during World War II.

Construction of Harvey Hall, originally used as a dormitory for the Cadet Corps of Nurses, in 1944. The building was designed by McKim, Mead and White and built with the help of funds allocated by the Federal Works Agency.

The business building was almost completely destroyed by fire in December 1970. The art building was torn down in the summer of 1969, and the Little Theater was razed in 1972 to make way for the Olmsted Theatre (1974).
